Hey Guys,
My morning routine has began to change. I no longer wake up having the phone as my first thought. I'd usually wake up and go through the different social media platforms that i have; Instagram, Facebook.. and reply to chats on WhatsApp. That I feel, should not be the case.
As a continuation of my social media minimalism, on this particular day, I woke up and read my devotional book that I had been gifted by my parents but had never actually got myself to read it since my first thought in the morning was always to check social media. It's actually a great book! In addition, I got to prepare for my family breakfast instead on spending time on social media...
Wake up, say a prayer that you forget to, read that book that you've been meaning to, do a bit of exercise or even better, start that work out plan that you've been meaning to start, prepare some healthy breakfast for you and your family etc.. and by so doing you'll start to feel so much fulfillment and you'd have consequently accomplished more.
Take these steps that will help you avoid the social media apps that distract you and get in the way of your daily progress. You can start by freezing those apps that you know for a fact you don't need, remove all those shortcuts to your favorite social media apps and you can also turn off all post notifications to those apps.
After you've taken these simple measures you'll start to feel some sort of freedom and you'll find that you no longer crave social media as much. It of course takes time but it comes with lots of self discipline.
Random Fact: You'll notice that your phone or laptop will keep charge for longer!๐
Stay tuned!!!
Thank you for that fact. :):)
